Futher training for university teachers at Aircraft Maintenance College 66 (AMC 66)

13 University teachers of the Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Thailand, have participated in an eight-week course, in the field of aircraft maintenance technology, at AMC 66 in Maastricht. This training course at Aachen-Maastricht Airport took place on the initiative of Stichting EB.

The Thai university teachers want to help accelerate the industrial development of Thailand by concentrating mainly on the acquisition of skills that they want to pass on as multipliers at their university.

Stichting EB  has been involved in transnational and international projects for more than 25 years, mainly through the exchange programs of teachers and pupils of vocational schools. This aircraft training course for university teachers is a new experience for the Stichting EB.
Thanks to the positive feedback from the group in Maastricht to their university in Bangkok and the good relations the Stichting  EB has had with Thailand for years, other universities from Thailand are planning to carry out further training courses in the field of aircraft maintenance technology with the foundation EB in cooperation with the AMC 66, with the object of building a similar Aviation Competence Centre  as the Aircraft Maintenance College 66 in Maastricht.
Recently there was a 40-person delegation from the Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, in the AMC 66. Here, various faculty leaders signed a ”Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)”, which aim at further co-operation.
The university representatives wanted to get to know the euregional vocational education  in general. Also as an example they have visited the training of the group at AMC 66.
