Training Aircraft technology for academic lectors of Thailand

From 10th October 2017 to 12th February 2018, 30 lecturers and professors from Thailand will come to Maastricht Airport to take part in a 4-month course in aircraft engineering. The participants come from 4 different universities in Bangkok.
In cooperation with Aircraft Maintenance College 66 at Aachen-Maastricht, the participants will be trained and prepared for examinations which are certified according to the EASA standard.
On 30 September 2017, the President Prof. Dr. Prasert and his deputy director Dr. Wisit came from the Rajamangala University of Technology to Maastricht Airport, to visit the training site on the spot. In addition, the future cooperation with Stichting EB, the Aviation Maintenance College 66 (AMC 66) and the university was discussed in detail and plans were agreed upon, which however need to be elaborated in more detail.

Prior to this, the university management was a guest of the mayor of Heerlen, Mr. Ralf Krewinkel, who welcomed the guests in the town hall and promised every kind of support to promote this training at the AMC 66 and at the same time pointed out its importance for the Euregion Meuse-Rhine.
