On the 11th of August 2015 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between EB-foundation, Siam Technological College and the Aviation Competence Centre of ROC Leeuwenborgh.
The aim of the MoU is to establish together a high quality aircraft maintenance training college in Thailand.
Together we aim for the best possible education and most recognized certification of aircraft mechanics and technicians. The students leaving the college must have the proper knowledge, skills and attitudes to be successful as certified aircraft mechanics and technicians.
The most recognized certification standards in the world are the EASA standards. EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) is an agency of the European Union responsible for drafting new regulations. Data posted on the EASA website indicate that currently there are about 10 approved Basic Maintenance Training Organisations outside the European Union. None of these Basic Training Providers are located in Thailand.
